These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Parta Labels mobile application (“App”) provided by æ Aeonian Engineering Limited, Hong Kong (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
Parta Labels is a local-first utility tool that allows you to create, encrypt, scan, and manage QR labels. All label content is encrypted and processed on your device. Cloud functionality is not required for operation, though certain optional paid features may interact with our API.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your region, to use the App. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
All label content is encrypted locally on your device using keys generated on your device. We do not store or access your label content. If you delete the App or lose your master key, you may lose access to encrypted data permanently. This behavior is intentional and part of the App’s security model.
Some future paid tiers may allow optional storage of master keys or metadata through secure API communication. These features are optional and require explicit user activation. Data handling and encryption rules for such features will be described in supporting documentation.
The free version of the App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. You agree to the display of ads as part of your use of the free tier. Upgrading to a paid tier may remove ads.
Certain features are available only through paid plans. All payments are processed by Google Play and subject to its terms, including subscription renewal and cancellation procedures. We do not process or store your payment information directly.
The App, including its design, code, and graphics, is owned by æ Aeonian Engineering Limited and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, adapt, or distribute any part of the App without permission.
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any specific purpose. Use of the App is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any disputes shall be resolved under Hong Kong jurisdiction.
